SUMMARY:Cosmology from CMB and Large-scale Structures with new and old Prob
 es
DESCRIPTION:par Giulio Fabbian (IAS)\n\nSalle : 123\, bât. 121\n\nRésumé
:\n\nCosmology is entering a new high precision era with the next generat
ion ground-based CMB polarization experiments and space based galaxy surve
ys (Simons Observatory\, CMB-S4\, Euclid). These experiments will deliver
high-sensitivity data sets on large sky fractions and will enable us to co
nstrain cosmology and astrophysics on all scales. In this talk I will revie
w some of the research topics in cosmology and astrophysics I have covered
in my past research career and discuss the science I will carry out at IA
S in the foreseeable future. In particular I will zoom in on some works I h
ave been involved with using space data. I will first discuss the new Quai
a catalog\, the largest quasar catalog produced to date\, derived from dat
a of the Gaia mission. I will show how this catalog can be used to constra
in primordial and late-time universe physics\, and show how upcoming Eucli
d data are expected to improve the constraining power of such measurements
. I will then focus on new probes of primordial and late time universe tha
t can be extracted from CMB spectral distortion measurements. I will show
how a re-analysis of archival data from the COBE/FIRAS mission using moder
n data analysis techniques allowed us to improve significantly the FIRAS o
riginal results and constrain feedback processes in galaxy formation\, mak
ing the prospects of new experiments like e.g. BISOU particularly promisin
