SUMMARY:Latest gravitational-wave results from LIGO\, Virgo and KAGRA
DESCRIPTION:\n\nGravitational waves (GW) were first detected 10 years ago b
 y the LIGO detectors\, marking the beginning of a new era in astronomy. Si
 nce then\, the international network of GW observatories comprised of LIGO
 \, Virgo\, and KAGRA (LVK) has detected 218 signals from compact binary co
 alescences across four observing runs. The latest run\, O4\, started in Ma
 y 2023 and is the longest to date. With more than 120 detections so far\, 
 O4 inaugurates an era of precision GW science.\nIn this talk\, I will pres
 ent the main scientific results of the LVK collaboration from the first pa
 rt of O4\, whose data have been publicly released in August 2025. They inc
 lude exceptional individual events\, such as the most massive binary black
  hole merger ever observed\; more precise constraints on population proper
 ties of compact objects with astrophysical and cosmological implications\;
  and updated limits on GW emission scenarios from sources other than compa
 ct binary mergers\, such as supernovae or isolated pulsars.\n\n\nOrateur:
