SUMMARY:Unveiling the chemical diversity of solar-type protostars
DESCRIPTION:par Audrey Countens (IRAP)\n\nRésumé : \n\nThe inner regions
of solar-type protostars host a rich chemistry. Complex organic molecules
and water present in these environments can later become incorporated int
o comets and asteroids\, and subsequently delivered to planets through imp
acts. Under suitable planetary conditions\, these compounds may contribute
to the emergence of life.\n\nLarge spectral surveys provide a powerful me
ans to characterize the molecular composition of star-forming regions in a
n unbiased way. About a decade ago\, the ALMA large spectral survey PILS t
argeted the solar-type protostar IRAS 16293-2422 and enabled a detailed in
ventory of its chemical content. However\, determining whether this source
is representative of solar-type protostars requires the study of a broade
r sample of objects. The ALMA large program COMPASS was designed to addres
 s this question.\n\nIn parallel\, chemical modeling plays a crucial role i
n interpreting observations and understanding the origin of the observed m
olecular diversity.\n\nIn this seminar\, I will present some of the first
results from the COMPASS large program\, together with recent advances in
chemical modeling obtained in the framework of the ERC project Chemtrip.\n
